Can sharks read in the dark?

Our sharks have been working hard to “build” another shark by the LRC by covering it with blue stickers representing all the books they have read. This is the second shark they have built this year! To celebrate this achievement, the whole school participated in a flashlight reading celebration on Friday March 24th. Each class chose 20-30 minutes on Friday to turn off the lights, close the blinds to relax and read in the dark with flashlights. Students loved cuddling up and reading their favorite books by flashlight. There is now a new shark up and ready to be filled. We can’t wait to see what the next celebration will be.
