Deanna DiPietra
Mrs. DiPietra is one of our veteran sharks and is a part of the 3rd grade team.
Mrs. DiPietra shares that her favorite part about being in education is working with the students, making a difference, seeing their “Ah ha” moments, building relationships with them and their families, and making it fun so they enjoy school. When she thinks about her own school experience, she shares that her favorite teacher was Mrs. Dennis, her 3rd grade teacher because she cared about her students and made learning fun. If she could choose one teacher’s class to enroll in for a day, she would choose Mr. Willis’ gym class to play games with the kids and listen to music.
Mrs. DiPietra wants our Sharks to know to always remember the golden rule…treat others the way you want to be treated. Her wish for the 2023-24 school year is that her students learn to love to read, that they improve their reading and math skills and that they have fun doing it.

Favorite school memory: Her class this year has been amazing in the short time they have been together. They all decided to do a hand stack at the end of the day and end it with the cheer of saying team work along with a group hug at the end.

Beth Wyman
Mrs. Wyman is technically one of our newest sharks, but really is a veteran shark. After many years as a Schafer parent and student teaching in 3rd grade last year, Mrs. Wyman is joining the third grade team in her very own classroom.
Mrs. Wyman shares that her favorite part about being in education is the kids. She wants our Sharks to know to keep asking questions and stay curious! Her wish for the 2023-24 school year is to celebrate any progress and successes even the small ones with the students and her own learning.

Esthela Arenas
Ms. Arenas is one of our veteran sharks and has moved from 2nd grade to join the 3rd grade team this year!
Ms. Arenas shares that her favorite part about being in education is seeing the student’s growth. When she thinks about her own school experience, she shares that her favorite teacher was Ms. Lopez. She knew how to build relationships between teacher and students. In fact, they still talk to this day. Ms. Lopez inspired her to become a teacher when she was in 6th grade. If she could choose one teacher’s class to enroll in for a day, she would choose a 5th grade class to see her previous student’s growth.
Ms. Arenas wants our Sharks to know to be kind and never give up! Her wish for the 2023-24 school year is to grow more as a teacher and build the best relationship with her students. 🥰
