Are you a 4th or 5th grade student interested in trying out different sports? Then we have the Schafer is starting a before-school intramural program for 4th and 5th graders for the 2023-24 school year. The program will consist of different sports throughout the school year (soccer, basketball, volleyball, floor hockey, Wiffle ball, and kickball). Each month we will have a sign-up in the gym for the sport of the month. We will then put the kids into different teams and schedule games for them to play in.
The games will be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays before school, 7:30 am – 8:00 am. You will need to provide transportation for your child and are welcome to come and be a positive spectator.
We do know that working with your children is going to be very gratifying. We are looking forward to a lot of hard work and dedication this upcoming school year and we hope that each one of your children can find some success during this season, and give 100% all year long. We will be emphasizing fun, sportsmanship, and the rules of sports.

Soccer: September 26- October 31
Volleyball: November 7- November 30
Basketball: December 5- December 21
