Are you a 4th or 5th grade student interested in trying out different sports? Then invite you to join Schafer’s before/after-school intramural program for the 2024-25 school year. The program consists of 5-week sessions of different sports throughout the school year (soccer, ultimate football, basketball, volleyball, floor hockey, wiffle ball, and kickball). Each month we will have a sign-up in the gym for the sport of the month. The students may choose to play all the sports or just sign up for the ones they are interested in playing. Games will be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In the first and last sessions, we will alternate between an after-school outdoor sport and a before-school indoor sport. The remaining sessions will all be played before school indoors. Please see the below schedule for more information on sessions and times. You must provide transportation for your child, and you are always welcome to come and be a positive spectator. Students should be dropped off and picked up at Door 3.
This is an extracurricular activity and no experience is needed! We provide a positive environment where we teach and follow the rules of the game, work on good sportsmanship, and emphasize fun. We are excited to provide this opportunity and look forward to working with the kids.
