The Schafer Talent show will be back for the 2023-2024 school year! The talent show will be open to students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Creativity, originality, and variety are encouraged! Students can try out as an individual act or with a group act. Acts will be chosen based on their readiness for the show. During tryouts, judges will look for acts that have costumes ready, memorized lyrics, dance steps perfected, polished musical instrument routines, and stage presence! Start thinking of your act now!

More information on tryouts will be coming later this year. Gym mats, desks, chairs, music stands, a piano, and a CD player are provided .  You will need to supply your own CDs, musical instruments, and any other props that you require.  In the past, acts have been an average of 2 min. but should be no longer than three (3) minutes. All music and lyrics should be appropriate and contain language suitable for elementary school students.  Costumes also need to be appropriate.
