The Schafer PTA hosted their annual Schafer Family dance on Thursday September 22nd. The night was filled with dancing, hula hoop and limbo contests, playing on the playground, and even a tamale food truck brought to us by Chef Iggy, a Schafer alumni, at Tickle my Tamale.
“The Schafer PTA is happy that so many families were able to join us for this year’s dance! It’s great to be able to interact with the students and their families and to see them all have such a fun time together. We are very fortunate to be able to provide these types of events at low or no cost to the families, thanks to the fundraisers we do throughout the year. We also wouldn’t be able to make these events happen without our amazing volunteers! Growing our PTA is a top goal of ours this year so that we can continue to put on awesome events like the family dance,” shared Schafer’s PTA President Zach Godzicki.
The next Schafer event will be our Fall Family Reading Picnic on Tuesday October 4th. Get your books ready, it will be a great day for a picnic!
